Ingersoll 6018 needing Brakes

Hello. My Dad is looking to purchase a Ingersoll 6018 tractor.
From what I can see the price looks to be great. However it needs brakes.
He is in a Farming area, so there are repair places-and he is reasonably handy himself (although 84 years old)
How difficult of a job is this-and are parts available? Thanks

welcome to tractor by net if the shoe plates are still good they can be relined if you get this far and cant find a rebuilder repost there are a couple in my area that can good luck
