Its $200 cheaper than a KingKutter 48 from Tractor Supply.

What are pro/con for chain vs gear drive for a tiller?

I'll be using it behind a Yanmar 1610D.

Any Yanmar importer should have them. One is shipped with each tractor.

That is no longer necessarily so, and the number of them that arrive in good enough condition to resell has gone down noticeably.

As Norm said, most of these gray market tractors come with a tiller but likely sold separately. Should be able to find one in decent shape for $300-$600 depending upon model, size and cond.

Here is the one I bouhgt for mine. A few cosmetic blems but was so quiet, the first time I engaged the tiller I had to turn around to make sure it was turning. Tines were like new and this is something you need to pay attention to.

This is interesting, I'm looking for a 60" tiller. Anybody know of a place to look in the midwest?

The Midwest is a pretty big place. You might shorten your drive if you would narrow it down some. I know of dealers in Missouri, Illinois, Tennesse, Alabama. Am I getting warm?

Check with Parker or Fredricks Equipment over in Al. They should have them, and they are in the neighborhood.
