Implement stuck on iMatch

Got my match today, it installed easily. The RC 2060 came on and off easily. The 5ft BB went on smooth but now won't release, seems to be stuck at the center pin. I've tried dropping it on level ground and on blocks. Also tried adjusting the center link both ways to encourage release.

I guess I can try and wedge something in to lift up on the link arms while holding the BB down.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and would appreciate any help.

Try unhooking the box blade by removing the top attaching pin like you would if you didn't have an imatch. Then the two bottom hooks can drop down and disengage. The top imatch bushing should stay with the quick hitch when this happens.

Check to make sure that this bushing isn't binding in the top hook. On one of two imatch hitches I have the top hook had less clearance than the other. A few minutes with a hand file and implements now slip on and off.

The reason they go on even with that restriction is because the weight of the attachment helps seat the bushings. When unhooking it is only the weight of the three point and imatch.

It could also be just the top bushing on the box blade needs some cleaning up. Since the rotary cutter came off ok, compare the top bushing on it with what is on the blade.

It sounds like you may have the new style i-Match. If so, loosen the two bolts that hold the center hook (15/16 wrench). Be careful where your hands are, when the bolts are loose the hitch will drop down.

This just happened to me yesterday with the ballast box. I saw where it was binding so I rounded the square edges a little with a grinder to make hooking up and unhooking easier next time.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. I got it unstuck and will work on the center link connection.

I'm thinking this is more like a PC than an Apple when it comes to implement fitment.

My flail mower does this. Its binding because of pressure on it. I just take a floor jack and lift the rear of the mower to release the pressure on the top connection and it drops right down. Nothing to remove and simple.
Harder to do with your BB tho...
