Re: i\'m excited
The problem isn't with Vin's web site or anyone's browser, it's with where it's being hosted, tripod.com. From the usage terms for free(?) accounts.
Bandwidth is the largest expense associated with hosting millions of member sites. For that reason, there is a monthly bandwidth limit on all sites. To monitor usage, each member's monthly bandwidth limit it divided into daily and hourly amounts. If a member site exceeds the limit for that time period, the site would be unavailable until the bandwidth usage is under the limit (generally under an hour). If a site becomes unavailable due to excessive bandwidth usage, visitors to the site will see a page displaying the time remaining until the site will again be available.
I got access earlier today and it's a nice site. There were pictures but I wasn't there long enough to see if they were shrunk files or files right from the camera, so I imagine it doesn't take much to exceed the amount of hourly bandwidth tripod permits. Once this happens, tripod makes the site unavailable. With many TBNers trying to access it from around the world...it looks like it might be one visitor every 3 hours. Stay in line, no pushing. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
