IH Farmall 300 Utility Parts Sources

I am getting a Farmall 300 Utility tractor. What kind of places are good sources for parts?

The only thing wrong with it is the hydraulic pump, but I am not the familiar with part sources for tractors in general. If you need to know where to get ATV or dirt bike parts, I am your man!!! But not for tractors.

Any part houses you guys would recommend?

When you look for parts for your 300, specifically for the utility model, use, or look for International 300. During that era, International's were designated for the utility type models, Farmall for the row crop models.

I prefer to use Messick's site: Messick's | Dealer for New Holland, Case IH, Kubota, Cub Cadet and More | Online Parts, Sales & Service. to find parts, mainly due to the fact they post prices on parts. I have found that the price listing is the same at my local dealer. Some items I like to buy OEM parts, some, I can get by with generic.

If you would like to do some aftermarket parts shopping, copy and paste the OEM part number from the Case/IH online parts book, to your favorite search engine. I have found that spending an hour in the evening searching part numbers, can save quite a few dollars. You can always save the best places to buy in your favorites list. Still doesn't hurt to run a price check across the board comparing with that list, on the net.
