Hi fellas,i have a 574 gas with loader bucket.i was cleaning up some manure this morning and went to slide her back in reverse and she started grinding and wouldnt go in.tryed forword, same thing.went to hop off and noticed my clutch pedal wasnt coming back home.glanced at it and saw return spring hanging there broken.figured no big deal.pulled the pedal up with my foot and she just flopped right back down to the deck.disconnected the pedal linkage and moved the shift rod by hand.has no resistence nor is it contacting anything inside.not sure how these clutches work but i would think that rod is moving a shift fork or something along those lines.i can jam the forword/reverse lever in gear and tractor runs fine in forword and reverse(just a pia to do not to mention damaging).any thoughts on it? I would think its something to do with internal linkage. Now the big question.....is there a way to access the linkage by removing a plate or something?or am i splitting this tractor? Any advise appreciated, mike
