IH 3088 loss of hydraulics

Anyone have experience with a 3088 hydraulics. My neighbor has one and the other day lost the hydraulics and down the hill through the woods it went till it hit a tree to stop. It seems to lose it when idled down or when hot. The pump has been replaced by the dealer and had thought that the problem was fixed but....SURPRISE.

The center hub on the pressure plate may have failed or the diverter valve is stuck.
