IH 254 Hyd pump/line

Hi, I'm new to the forum and need help. :Last year the 1984 IH 254 I have blew the Hyd pump line that is soldered to the pump. I had that repaired but the shop didn't add any fluid. My helper overfilled the tractor and the line has a half inch split in another area. I'm not finding anyone who wants to attempt brazing and I can't find the part. What can I do?

If you can, or know someone that can silver solder is the answer. Clean and buff the line bright, far enough past the split you feel comfortable with it holding. Wrap the line closely with a fine mechanics wire, then silver solder it. This is an acceptable practice on repairing commercial aircraft hydraulic lines, and they carry a lot more psi than that tractor. Surely ought to work on that.
