I was talking to a fair sized dealership owner this weekend. I'm not in the market for a Yanmar at this point . . But you never know. But here is something to pay attention to:
Think "Bee colors".
1. We all know the SC2400 was discontinued after 2013
2. I don't know the status on the 2900's for certain but I can guess.
3. The dealer told me he had just sold his last . . Very last 3200 that day. He'd been told by the factory that they were now completely out of 3200's and they are not building anymore. And because they are popular . . most dealers have no desire to transfer to another dealer.
What does this mean? I'd guess if you are planning on getting a 3200 (and likely also a 2900 series) prodct new . . best do it soon.
From Yanmar it will now be all red units and its hard to say if a 2900like or 3200like will be in red . . . other than the now 221/324/424 etc. products.
