Very sad, indeed. It only takes one idiot to... well, enough said.

Anyway, I admire your determination to help your neighbors.

You might want to suggest to them some cheap motion detector lights, some cheap viedeo cameras and a not so cheap time lapse VCR. It would probably run them 2 or 3 thousand $$ total, but would be re-couped by catching the offender(s) just once.

Mossroad, time lapse VCRs have dropped considerably in price since everybody is now pushing digital storage.
Samsung sells an excellent recorder 30 days if I recall, should retail for around $700-

Yep. They are coming down. The cameras are cheap and so are the motion activated floodlights. Floodlights alone are usually a good deterant, however, it never hurts to get them on film /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
