I have a Bush Hog brand Rotary cutter I bought off a guy used. One of the Blades came of last fall when I was using it. I found the blade and Blade bolt but not the nut. Needless to say I need to replace the whole assembly the threads on the blade bolt are too beat up at this point to hold a nut. Called around to all the bush hog dealers without a model number no one has any idea what the blade bolt number could be. The rotary cutter is a 60" diameter. The blade bolt is 3 3/4" in diameter at the head and the threaded part is 1 3/8" diameter fine thread (12 TPI). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

63607 is a 6 piece blade bolt kit that most any Bush Hog dealer will stock. It contains 2 each of blade bolts, lock washers and nuts. Fits all but a handful of Bush Hog rotary cutter models built in the last 60 years. Absolutely will be correct for yours.

Take that blade and bolt to AgSouth. They have those all day long. If you have an ASC near you.

One of the things that had happened is dealers have been bad mouth and burnt. 2 different issues.
They get bad mouth, because a person says my bolt is x x/x” diameter and did not bring in the bolt. The person was eyeballing the diameter with a tape measure and not a caliber. When parts which were not in stock arrive and are wrong due to poor measuring it is the dealers fault.
They get burned by giving out part numbers but never sell the part. You decide what the person did for parts.

I have no problem with ordering stuff on line—i do it all the time. But I also have no problem with the dealer making a profit if I want him to be around next week, next whenever!
