Simpliciy Legacy XL 2010
I have an 2010 Legacy XL with a Kawasaki LC engine. Time for my first oil change and I am trying to figure out how to access the oil drain plug. I found it but I can not figure out how to get a wrench in or what I can do with the exiting oil since the steel engine mount is right underneath it? Feeling really stupid now, bale me out please!

I have a Kawasaki AC engine and a different brand of mower, so my hint might not apply to your situation.

Although the Kawasaki owner's manual shows only one drain plug that can be removed with a wrench or hex bit, there is a second plug on the other side of the engine. That plug is fitted with a plastic drain pipe extension that allows me to drain the oil without spilling the oil all over the mower deck.

I hope this helps.

Nothing on the other side that I can see. Anyone else have this simplicity model and can help?

That mmodel is really uncommon, I guess second hand dealers might know something about them. those folks should know.
