Hi all, here are some pics of the ice storm that hit us thrursday nite. We lost power thursday nite around 9:30 pm and did not get power back until 3:30 pm sunday. All you could hear thursday nite were the crack,crack of the branches snapping and trees coming down. it soundled like gun shots going off all nite thank god we had a whole house generator but had to get a emergency fill up of propane friday nite other wise we would have been out of power by sunday afternoon. the electric company phone recording had said not to expect power to return until late monday. Other parts of our town are still out and may not get power for another week or so. Other hilltowns in western mass are in the same shape or worse than us. I spent saturday afternoon cleaning up the debris. I hope we don't go thru this again for another 10 years or so.
