:) My experience has been contrary to the complainant in "Do Not Buy TC45". I have a 2007 TC45DA with hydrostatic, no supersteer no cab. It pulls my 6' flail harvester converted to mower just fine. Pulls great uphill, I just back of the hydrostatic pedal as I would shift down on a gearjammer. The tractor is easy to drive and works fine in all regards.

38 hrs, so far so good.

I've said the same before. I have really enjoyed this tractor so far. It's been in the 100's for the past month here and the a/c has held up great. I need to get a therometer and give yall a visual on how good it works. In 100+ heat I have to turn the thermostat up some. It gets that cool in there.

The only thing I have ever complained about was the design of the back glass (how far it opens). Though it was my fault that it broke. Can't blame anyone but myself.

I would have to, from my experiance, encouage anyone who is considering getting this model to do so! She's got plenty of power and a comfy ride!

I have a 2000/2001 vintage TC45D with 1200 hrs(40 of my own), and have had no problems with it. Nothing had been upgraded on the machine before I purchase it(the cooling system, the joystick, the relays), yet it has not failed. It is, in my opinion, and inherently good, long lasting design for moderate to heavy(not severe) use.

Edit: I have supersteer, which I would never not have for my purposes. The only thing I miss is the QA for the bucket.

So...what are you waitin' on? Christmas?
:D :D :D

In all seriousness, my QA bucket is the best darn feature I've added to my tractor. It's even better than TnT.

Just this week while I was at work, my little wife decided to do some trail mowing on the backside of our property. I had the rock bucket / grapple on
the FEL. She just popped the QA "thumbs" up and disconnected the hydraulics to the grapple without any problem. She would never have been able to make it through the trees with that extra rock bucket length, but it was so easy to remove that it didn't slow her down.

Dang! I used to be able to convince her that tractor work was hard...

I like my TC40DA. I have 100 hours on her now. No regrets.

Jim,

Is the NH QA the best choice(even if it is a little more)? Do you know if you can still get them for the 17LA, now that the new model is out?

Thanks for your help.

Chris, the NH plate that fits on the loader arms has always been the best choice in my opinion. I only paid $360 for mine. I think they are still less than $400. I can't swear that the new loaders are the same dimension, but I'm pretty sure they are. Even so, NH will maintain spare parts/ optional parts for the 16LA/17LA loaders for several years. They will probably get more expensive each year though.

The loader bucket plate is too expensive from NH in my opinion. I think you could buy one off of ebay and pay for it to be shipped to you for less than NH's price. Even so, it's less than $200.

Both plates and the welding should come in around $700. That's a hefty chunk of change, but I think you'll never regret it.

As an addendum to my comment...

Go to Messicks.com and click on "Attachment Blowout" in the New Holland section. Scroll all the way to the bottom of that list and you'll see a QA attachment plate for welding onto your bucket after the old mounting bracket is removed. Messicks is selling one for $149.

...and if you own a LB75/85/95, they have a cab marked down from over $6000 to a mere $995. :D

Might want to check prices locally. My local dealer sells these plates for $110. They are actually for skid loaders, thus way havier then they need to be.
