Kubota L5030HST,R4 & Kubota RTV900R Utility Vehicle
After many weeks of looking and research here on TBN I signed on the dotted line. June 25th is the big Delivery Day. Here's what I signed for,

Kubota L5030HST, R4, 4WD
LA853 FEL w/ Quick Disc., HD Bucket with Tooth Bar
BH90 Backhoe, Sub Frame w/ 24" bucket
Remote Hydraulics to 3PH (One Set)
Remote Hydraulics to FEL (One Set) They use a really neat
joy stick with a built-in trigger switch to use Front
remotes. It's tied right into the FEL curl & dump lines.
Canopy Top w/ Dual Front & Dual Rear work lights.
Bush Hog 286 HD 6' Rotary Cutter
Woods RM990 7 1/2' Finish Mower (Thanks TBN for this find)
Woods MBX720 HD 6' Box Blade
Bush Hog S50-07 7' Scrape Blade
Blatic 600lb. Fertilizer/Seed Spreader

I'm getting tired just thinking about all the work I'm going to have to do myself to be sure the boss (we all know who she is) can't call this baby "Just a TOY"

I also have a few other attachments that will go into my collection of goodies, 72" Grapple, Bradco Pallet Forks, Hydraulic Auger that will attach to FEL QD w/ 9" bit, Wallenstein BXR60 6" Auto Feed Wood Chipper.

I think I'm set as set can be but now I don't have two nickles to rub together.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

THANKS AGAIN to all TBN members for your help these last few weeks, I feel I have all the right stuff to take care of ALL my jobs..... BTW I passed on a Rotary Tiller to put in my deer food plot with the thinking it's only once a year and can be rented for $ 75.00 per day every fall.

Come on June 25th.... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'll repeat myself and offer my congtratulations on a great list of toys, er, TOOLS!

I've been here since it was the Kubota Board and over those years have watched the "motion of the market", for lack of a better term. A LOT of people buying their first compact utility tractor start out with a smaller machine and pretty soon are looking for something a little bigger, until they get up around 45 hp.

I think the machine you have selected is a great size for a property owner. If there is such a thing as a "just right" tractor size, the L5030 has to be close to it. It will do small jobs and big jobs well. Great choice. Have fun and be careful - a lot of goodies to get used to there.

Alrightttttttt, I didn't know there was a 5030 club, but I'm glad to be a member.... I know it's 7 days away from delivery day and I have all these projects rushing through my head.

I'm taking 10 days off work to put in some seat time.... I should be ready to go back to work by the end of that 10 day deal..... (Get back to work and REST)

Yes, mine hurt as well. I didn't think you could spend that much on a tractor..... But it will be nice and last me a lifetime. So I jumped in a looked at it like an investment in improving my property.

At least that's the line a gave my wife. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

OK, Bad news. I taking 10 off from June 24-July 5th to work my new tractor and I was just told the RM990 finish mower won't be available til after July 4th.... One of my main tasks was to mow the pasture at least once during that two weeks.

OH Where-O-Where did my RM990 go..... /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
