The recent Flight 370 tragedy has brought out a bevy of talking head "experts", many in my opinion couldn't pour pee out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel.
But today in the "bladerunner" trial over in South Africa, one of the "expert firearms witness's" for the state just about takes home the trophy in my book.

He testified that since the victim had gunshot wounds over large areas of her body, the shots could not have been fired rapidly as the defendant claims because if the shot's had been fired rapidly there would be a tight grouping of the shots on the body!..

WOW! in all my years of shooting, and many of them on the clock in IPSC and IDPA matches, I did not know that all one had to do to obtain tight groupings was to just fire your pistol rapidly!
I could have won so many more prizes and trophy's if I had only known that!.

Remember this "expert" is a states witness.

Where do these "experts" come from! I am wondering if anyone knows which of the crackerjack boxes contain the "expert witness" certificates?

Well, what I found really helped with my accuracy is - holding the pistol sideways with my elbow in the air, like the TV thugs :)

My Dad used to say....Those who claimed to be experts were just Drips under Pressure.....;)

I thought expert broke down into two words.. Ex being a "has been" (s)pert is a drip under pressure :D unfortunately I qualify for both...

We used to call that kind of shooting the "Thousand Yard Typewriter". Today, I suppose it could be dubbed the "Thousand Yard Keyboard".

Ok, so let me see, fan the revolver, with elbow up in the air and rapid firing or at least rapid fanning. I threw that last one in all by myself. Just wait till my buddies see me at the range!!
