I feel pretty confident i am going with Attica Lumber for my pole building. I have talked to a lot of people and went to Lowe's and Menard's and talked to some mennonite/amish builders not quite sure. Attica Lumber seems to have the most knowledge of all these places...the salesguy was a former builder and he answered some difficult questions about tubular concrete, wainscoating, cupolas, and gave me some insights in truss spacing i wasn't considering. I figure if they been in business since 1925 they have to be doing something right. I like their 2x6 wall girts and diagonal bracing techniques as well...they let me see two of their projects going up right now and their wood seems to be a lot better than what i have seen. They use concrete pads and not mortar mix which i think is a big deal. JStan North Central Ohio. All comments welcome on best prices for pole barns and quality!!
