Kubota
I have a JD5210, MF285 and a F3600 and I believe I like my Kubota better than any of the others. The more I use it the better I like it. The other tractor makes better get their stuff together or the Kubota tractors are going to be to tractors what Honda and Toyota are to vehicles. If I where buying another tractor today it would be a Kubota. It feels solid as a rock driving it and a lot quieter than any of my other tractors and they all have cabs also.

This is exactly how I picture them in my mind too. Three Toyotas and two Kubotas in my immediate family.

Congratulations on your new tractor.

I currently have 4 Honda vehicles:

1. 1998 Honda CRV 104000 miles and never been back to the dealer except for a couple of recalls. wifes car
2. 2004 Honda Civic 7000 miles and gets 37 mpg highway-my daughters car
3. 1987 Honda Accord 237000 miles and very little blowby and the only major thing I can remember is putting a clutch in it.
4. 1988 Honda Accord 307000 miles and has some blowby, but the previous owner I don't think took very good care of it and I bought it for $700 and drive it around 300 miles a week.

These Kubota tractor I believe are of the same quality as the Japanese engineered cars.

I just got a m6800, with fel, and absolutely love it also. It is so hard to beat kubota quality as it is toyota and honda as well. Have an F250 diesel 04 with the 6.0 diesel and have had alot of problems going to the dealer in the morning, wish kubota made trucks!!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a 2002 F-250 7.3 and so far no problems. They pertty much have the problems ironed out on your truck (6.0) so it should be able to be fixed fairly easy. Go to this site for any Ford diesel struck problems. www.thedieselstop.com

Keep us posted JL. An M6800 is my 'down the road' (5 or 6 yrs) goal. Please pass along your impressions and experiences as the machine builds time. Your words will be heeded.
