I need help!!! Want to buy, but....

I am in the market for a new tractor. I want 30-35 hp, loader and box scraper. I have 1 mile of road to maintain and all kinds of work around my 12 acre yard. My dilema is this: I have no local Kioti dealer, but Kioti is making the new Cub Cadet 8354 (same as a DK 35). I am assuming that all of the features on the Cub are standard to the DK 35 such as: quick attach bucket (60"), rear remotes, synchro-shuttle transmission, etc.. This tractor is sold by a long standing dealer that attends the same church that I do. However, they are new to the CUT market.

My other choice is the L3130 Kubota (GST or FST transmission) with the L513 loader. No quick attatch bucket or rear remotes. Sold by a local dealer that sells a very high volume of tractors and has tons of experiance with the CUT market.

Both tractors are the same price, basically. The Cub is 17,100 and the Kubota is 17,200 (GST).

Please provide any feedback that you may have in helping make this decision. Comments on reliability, re-sale, etc. will all be appreciated.

Droid welcome dealers are as important as the tractor your going to buy and I think it's great that you seem to have found two of them. I guest the only thing left for you to decide is which one you feel more comfortable with try them both out.You will know then which to pick.Alot of great guys in the kioti forum and I know you will be getting the help you need good luck. cag

yep, it's the same TRACTOR.... don't know about the loader.

you can put on a quick detach bucket or you can leave it off. just depends on what the dealer ordered.

as was mentioned in one of the replies ... you will eventually need a good dealer. It does not matter what color the machine is. Sooner or later you will need a good dealer near you.

Last weekend I went and looked over a 8454 tractor. It is identical except the loader had a little heavier specs than the Kioti and the 3 pt had serious increase in spec over the DK 45. Not much room to move the seat back and the dealer told me no hoe over 8.5 ft, so, I dropped even thinking about it one more minute. It does look to me a serious machine, well built, and great paint on them. For me, I have to have a large hoe and they are not available and will not be over the 8.5.. Otherwise a serious machine to consider.
