Our neighbor to our landscaping property put his land clearing equipment up for sale yesterday.

He has a Case Track hoe, 655 (not sure if that is right) but a fair sized Track hoe for $12,000

Then he had a mid sized Case dozer, a single axle Dump and a large equipment trailer (hauls the dozer) these things together are $16000.

All the equipment is running and working but a bit rough.

He was developing land for a while, and now is doing RR maintenance stuff and has no time for the other.

It is just killing me to not buy it. I do not need it, would not work it like it would have to be to pay for it, do not even really want to do that kind of work, but when I pull in and look at that stuff it makes me want to run to the bank and take out a loan so I could move it to my property!

Talked to my wife about it yesterday (she owns and operates the landscape business) and I think somewhere I sprouted a third eye and a horn in the middle of my head by the way she started looking at me!

Anyone else have these crazy thoughts when looking at equipment?

My oldest daughter lives in Clarksville. If you decide to not buy it, can I send her up there to take some pictures for me?:)

...and no...I'd never dream of buying that stuff out from under you.:D

They are on 79 south, Dover Road, across from Kennedy Brothers automotive, next door to Hardshell powder coating, in front of A Woman's touch Lawncare / Landscaping....

438 Dover Road Clarksville TN.

The guy that rents part of our lot from us was making noises about buying them, but there is a big difference between, "I am buying those" and "I am handing the guy the cash"

If you are ever up this way, look me up.

Wish your neighbor wasn't so far from me. Those are great prices if they are in decent shape. Around here most sellers of used equipment like that ask prices that make you start looking for the parts that are gold plated.

Think I'd get real serious about providance and condition before the rush to the Bank.

Gee, must need glasses, since it looked like you just asked, on this list, if any of us have funky crazy mixed-up illogical maybe even idiotically ridiculous thoughts about big heavy toys we don't need.

Never, not in a million years, I just hang out here to watch the rest of you suffer.
