Our neighbor to our landscaping property put his land clearing equipment up for sale yesterday.
He has a Case Track hoe, 655 (not sure if that is right) but a fair sized Track hoe for $12,000
Then he had a mid sized Case dozer, a single axle Dump and a large equipment trailer (hauls the dozer) these things together are $16000.
All the equipment is running and working but a bit rough.
He was developing land for a while, and now is doing RR maintenance stuff and has no time for the other.
It is just killing me to not buy it. I do not need it, would not work it like it would have to be to pay for it, do not even really want to do that kind of work, but when I pull in and look at that stuff it makes me want to run to the bank and take out a loan so I could move it to my property!
Talked to my wife about it yesterday (she owns and operates the landscape business) and I think somewhere I sprouted a third eye and a horn in the middle of my head by the way she started looking at me!
Anyone else have these crazy thoughts when looking at equipment?
