I just Discovered how Great the Horizontal Hoes are for Weeding!!!

My Nephew came to visit a couple weeks ago and was telling me that he found one of the Horizontal Hoes (the one with the loop on the end) in an old shed and tried it and it really worked great.
I trust his opinion so I bought one yesterday at Lowes for $15.98.
I came home and took it out to my 20' X 30' fall cucumber plot. The plants are only 4" tall so the weeds haven't gotten a good start YET. It took me minutes to do the whole plot everywhere except the hills!
It was so much easier than the chopping you do with a regular hoe! You just push and pull and it even helps level out the soil as you go.

Yes but attaching it to the tractor is a real bugg..!

Maybe if I attached it to the back hoe it would work or maybe just use that principle and attach a sharp blade under the bucket and drag it back and forth.

We always called those "stirrup" hoes and yes they work great! Quicker than a hoe too

My neighbor said it was called "A Hula-Hoe" but I think she has had too much Wine. ??
Everytime you turn around they come out with something that is just a gimmick to get your money but I am amazed these are not more popular.
I would not have bought one on my own without a good recommendation.
