Rotary Cutter i have a S300 HF Bobcat, Need a heavy Duty Rotary brush cutter to cut 8". Any idea's?

Hi Leonz - Not after an Auger!!! I am after Snow Pusher or Snow Blower, or Maybe Both.

Brucey beaver "Please" pay attention:

A two stage snow caster has either a two section cross auger(left and right) that is powered through a worm an spur gear box and each half has a shear pin. The drive shaft for the impeller is the same one that powers the worm and spur gear that rotates the "2 open auger halves of that type of two stage snow caster,


OR; It has a "Single Cross Auger" that is chain driven on one side from a right angle gearbox.

The single cross auger being an open auger foces the material to the center and the forward motion of the tractor pushes the snow into the impeller.

I suggested the Berta two stage snow caster as an example of better engineering as it will not be plugged up while operating it. So at least think about it.

The other thing about snow pushers is that your skid steer loader is limited in how much snow its going to be able to push simply because it will loose traction-They wont tell you that but I will.

So I got the ETERRA Typhoon 60" Brush cutter, what a gem. Now looking for a Snow Pusher or Snow Blower any Ideas?

How about an update on the Typhoon, how much time on it and how is it holding up? Looking at a heavy duty cutter myself and considering the Typhoon, Ground Shark or CID Extreme.
