I have a question about the 647 tiller

First pass is about 3 inches. Second pass will add 3 more inches. It also depends on the type of ground, moisture content and compaction. I have been in gardens that the first pass went 6 inches deep. Other times I have made 4 passes to get 5 inches down. One time the ground was so hard ---- well you would not believe that so I will stop there.

I have a 655 and can usually get to 6-8" with 2-3 passes. The slower I go the finer the soil gets.
