On the dash panel on the left side, there is one panel that shows temp with a range of 221>>>240 with a F in the middle of the gauge range, as I am running my tractor with the bush hall, the hand on this gauge goes over to the middle on the F after running/cutting 30 min's or more, is this normal, or is this a sign that my tractor is running hot for some reason. I have a two blade bush cutter(handy 600 ?) Could it be that my bush cutter is set too low while cutting, that is making this temp hand go over to the middle on the F. Is there anything else I can check to see what may be causing this temp hand to move over to the F.

Have you checked the screen in front of the radiator to see if it is clogged? While bush hogging, this happens a lot.

Solved this issue last year on a borrowed Mahindra that was a re-branded TYM. First using compressed air blow out the radiator from the engine side. Do not use water, use compressed air. Second make sure the fan belt is not loose. Third remove the side cowlings and run with them off. Once all this was done the tractor pulled the six foot mower with the temp needle barely above normal not even close to hot.

Definitely make sure your radiator and screens are clean. The belt is a good idea too. Removing the side covers is not recommended by the manufacture. The cowlings as they are called circulate the air around the engine if they are removed the air escapes rather the blowing over the engine. The slight temp increase is normal for the load being applied by the PTO.

I assume this is a water cooled engine and not an air cooled engine. If the cowlings prevent the free flow of enough air to cool the radiator coolant and the engine is running hot then removing the cowlings to allow more air to freely flow is a good thing, especially if the engine runs cooler. More than one Mahindra owner experienced the same problem and solved with the same procedure.

Ill bet the "F" is just the Fahrenheit label. Does the gauge show a green/yellow/red colored area? 220 to 240' does not seem like a terrible coolant temperature to me. Can you take a picture of your gauge?

Otherwise Yup. Clean radiator, Check belts. Check that the fluid is to proper level and at the proper 50/50 mix. Pick up a coolant hydrometer if you don't have one. They are cheap. How old is the coolant? Consider a flush and re-fill. Check the radiator cap. I would shoot the radiator with an IR temp gun on the inlet and outlet side for the differential temperature, but also find the thermostat ports as well.
