I got my 4720 today complete with 400x FEL, Mx6 cutter, box blade, imatch, wells canopy, and a rear work light to round it out. $31,169 for everything.

I mowed some with it before I had to head to work. I can not wait to get to the house and do some more mowing!

Thanks for all the input.

Sounds like you got a pretty sweet deal.

I have to say, I'm a little jealous. Seemed like just a few days ago, you were looking for input and comparisons, and now your driving your new tractor. I ordered mine about 4 weeks ago, and I'm still waiting. Hopefully next week.

Anyway, if you can post any pics it would be great. Even if I can't have my new toy yet, I still enjoy looking at other peoples new toys. Enjoy !

Congratulations. I ordered mine on March 25 and am still waiting. Did you get the electric diverter? Need that to drive it off the lot- everthing else can come at 50 hr check up.
Enjoy!

I did not get the electric divert. I figure I will be getting some other goodies. I need to look at the ballast stuff, and a grapple to start with. Maybe tpo tilt.

How do I post a pic anyway?

Thanks,
D.

Nice!

My Deere will look exactly like that, but it'll say 4120 power reverser on it and have a 4 in 1.

I'm beginning to think that I ordered it in a dream, and that it's not really coming. They tell me June 14th...Apparently the e-reverser was responsible for the delay, although the r-4's mav have contributed as well.

By the time I do take delivery, I'll put that MX6 through it's paces for sure. The pastures are getting pretty high. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Deere stuff clearly indicates a June availability on reversers all the first run were hydros...

I looked at the JD4720 and opening the hood scared me. Made me wonder where else they cut costs. Cheap prop rod, cheap plastic hood with no support frame, the hood rests on the muffler. Have to remove the front plate to get to the battery, only 2500lb 3pt lift capacity.

I ended up going with the NH TC55DA tractor, seemed a much more quality unit with greater 3 pt with deluxe equipment, not all optional like the deere guy wanted, greater loader lift capacity, nicer operator platform.

Look at the Nh when you go to trade her in. Good luck

Interesting points. I don't think I will be trading it in any time soon. I figure it should be the last tractor I buy.
