Some dirty low life named Pedro Alverez put one of my welding pictures in a Google+ group as an example of his work. It is the left bucket hook of my Kioti. Now it was a pretty nice weld, done with my little Everlast PA160 and some 7018. But come on, you don't have to steal it and claim it as yours. Makes you wonder if all those other nice iron work photo's he posted are stolen too..

I would assume all the pictures shown are stolen from someone else. I also assume he's doing this to fool others into hiring him to do a job. That is just plain wrong and dishonest.

Not sure what you can do but I 100% agree with you that he is not an honest guy. Can't trust much on the internet.

You could always photoshop a watermark of your choice into the background for "protection".

I myself have done this, and even here on TBN did it once or twice.

That said, it sucks somebody would steal somebody elses work and call it their own. Ive considered watermarking my pics, but what the heck, if somebody wants to be a cheat and steal them it doesnt bother me that much. It's a reflection on them, not me.

Yeah, the only pictures that are probably his is the picture of his AC 225 Tomstone, so shiny, and pretty red. Suffice it to say, you aren't going to make the delicate welds required to make some of this with this welder.

Gee James, I did not think of that ...I would not have had to buy my Mig welder..I could have just copied pictures of your welds and saved some money.... Remember imitation is the best form of flattery or something like that....

You should send ole Senor Pedro an invoice for license fee of your photo....LOL
