I am a new 400 owner

I have researched all the forums looking for advice on garden tractors and decided on a 400 series.
The first one I looked at was a 95 455 60" mmm -w- 500 hours for 2900$. I had no idea what I was looking at. I went home on a Friday and studied up enough to decide that was the tractor for me. When I went back Tuesday morning, gone.

The second was a 99 425 54" mmm with 600 hours for 3750$. Studied on that one and went back a day later, gone.

I have no idea how you did except to say that that tractor looks to be in perfect condition.

I would recommend the 455 with the 60" deck, or get a newer 49x or 5xx series used.
