any one got a picture of where it located on my tractor? I read here that if the seal and bearing are bad the engine can siphon oil out of the hydraulic system. I found my engine over filled and the frontend really low (there are no leaks)

On the smaller tractors the hydraulic pump is frequently located at the front of the engine being driven from a pulley on the front of the crankshaft. You may find it tucked under the alternator. Follow your hydraulic lines. I get replacement pumps for my old Mitsubishi from eBay. I have found the same physical dimension pump may spin either direction depending upon the tractor using it so I must shop carefully for the correct one.

Parts breakdown shows it mounted by the flywheel housing. Yes on some models a bad shaft seal on the pump can transfer oil from hydraulic to engine.

The hydraulic pump should not have any influence on the front axle oil level though unless the TC is hydraulic front wheel drive vs more standard mechanical front wheel assist
