Hello everbody,

Hey I was just wondering what the correct way is to route the hydraulic lines on my 2005 TC29 with a 14LA FEL. The dealer had the hoses inside of the loader frame which caused the hoses to rub hard against the side of the hood which will obviouosly wear off the paint very quickly.

I went by the dealership on Sunday and noticed that the hoses were routed on the outside of the frame on one of their new TC34's, which is basically the same setup as my TC29.

I checked the owners manual for the loader and it seems pretty vague.

Any ideas?

I think hoses on the inside of the loader arms are going to be less prone to snags when working in brush or around limbs. My hoses rub the hood on my TC45D and one of the decals is becoming thread-bare, but I like them on the inside. The quick connects are also on the inside of the RH loader support post, so it's a straight run up to the front. My hoses also attach to rigid hydraulic lines on the inside of the loader arms, so I don't think they really could be outside.

My tractor is a different model, so I'm having trouble picturing your setup. A quick snapshot would sure be helpful.

You may be able to slip a cloth sleeve around hoses to cushion the hood.

I agree, something like a fire hose usually works wonders.

Zipper,

Here's a pic of my DX33.

I'm assuming this is what your talking about. Either way works fine. I usually run mine on the outside of the frame as shown in the pic. Inside is fine to but does rub on paint. I would probably not worry about it either way unless working in alot of brush as Jim said, then I'd run it inside.

JK,

Thanks for the photo. I changed mine to be the way yours is in your picture. They had been setup inside the black loader frame against the hood. I suppose either way works fine but this way seems like it will rub less on the body of the tractor. Thanks again.
