hydrostat control acting funky at 60 hrs

Previously the hydrostat would stop driving when not depressed , but now it will keep driving - it does not come back to a neutral position in between forward and back. I have to push the opposite pedal or brake to get it to stop.

There is very little control over the speed, its real sloppy. In middle gear when I put it in reverse it will go really slow, almost no drive, then it will (sometimes) jump and go full speed all the sudden.

Only 64 hours up. Any ideas?

Call your dealer. That tractor is still under warranty.

Sounds like something stuck in your linkage. Look for a branch or something bent out of shape. Sometimes you catch a branch just right and sends it right up into the linkage

I agree with both posters.. May be a linkage issue.. -but-.. at that few hours.. I wouldn't turn a wrench on it unless it was a non warranty issue.. ( and for hydro tranny problems.. you had better hope it is a warranty issue! )

I had something similar happen to my 4010 once. Something was bent and was catching on the linkagaes. I don't remember what it was without looking at it but it was kinda scary the first time I let off the forward pedal and it kept right on going! Luckily pushing the reverse pedal would make it stop.

Nothing stuck, nothing bent.Dealer had not heard of this one before. Will be delivering for warranty repair monday...
