AKKAMAAN, that's the one
you think that pump is not giving full flow?
I've opened the motor and I saw taht the bearing plate is a little bit damaged, has marks on it. But I'm not sure if those marks could cause the problem (sudden speed loss).
Then again, when oil gets warm, perhaps it can bypass from inlet directly to outlet.
What is normal tolerance for the bearing plate? Or could this be electric problem?
I have no experience of Claas and Sauer Danfoss, but have have used similar systems on Timberjack (John Deere) logging equipment...
I do not think pump is giving full flow, and it is a variable pilot controlled displacement on the pump and motor....low displacement takes low pilot pressure.....high displacement takes high pilot pressure....
If there is and electric control system, it could be an electric problem aswell....need an electric multimeter to check the amp output to the solenoid valves that control the pilot pressure......
Question: How do you control the driving/"shifting" on this Claas? Electric switches and then just throttle??? or a manual lever to control the pump??
How old is your Claas Targo??
This servo pressure or pilot pressure, turns the yoke on the pump to increase displacement. Usually it works like the pump gets full displacement, before motor starts to reduce displacement. This servo/pilot pressure regulates both pump and motor.....it is supposed to be somewhere between 145psi to 435psi, depending on actaul pump-motor pressure....so a pressure test should show at least 435psi....There should be details about this pressure setting in the owners manual....
Servo/Pilot pressure light blue on drawing....
If you can get this pressure check before taking next step...
If you PM me I can give you a PH# to a very good guy in Canada, that deals with Sauer Danfoss alot.
