hydro oil check?

When you guys top of the hydro oil do you bring it to the top of the line or keep it in the middle on the dip stick. Mine is pretty much at the very top of the line. I dont know if that good or not. Also you check the top of the dip stick not the back side? thanks

I put mine at the top mark of the dipstick with the loader bucket sitting flat on the ground. That level moves quite some bit with the amount of fluid that goes out to get the loader to lift so as long as it's between the marks with the loader down it should be fine.

You should check your hydro fluid with all external cylinders collapsed. Always when looking at the dipstick go by the lowest line of oil weather it is on the front side of the stick or the back. I always keep mine a touch below the full line for expansion when the oil gets hot. To much oil in the system can cause you to blow out seals.

I spoke to the dealer they said go by the high end of the dipstick which on mine would be the front side. If i went from the backside the level on the front would be halfway up the dipstick.

Can anybody confirm what's correct? Front or back of dipstick when checking? Dealer told me front ICU812 Says back

"Keep the level between the marks" per Operator manual. Not below the low side on front or above the high side on the back.
