Hydro fluid leak at sight glass guage.

Hydro fluid is seeping out around the sight glass guage on my L4310 HST. It apparently just started within the past week or so. The tractor is not quite 3 years old and has 390 hours. It leaks enough to make a 1 1/2" diameter puddle overnight. So far the level has not dropped enough to notice.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Since I'll be draining the Super UDT soon for the 400 hour service, I could maybe fix it then. Any suggestions on how to repair it would be appreciated. Nearest dealer is 40 miles away.

I would check with the dealer for a service bulletin on the problem. If you are having the problem, there is a strong chance that others have also had the same problem. I believe that they are siliconed in place, but I don't know what type of silicone was used. The Kubota dealer probably has some good answers for the problem along with factory approved adhesives to remedy this..
