I have a john deere 1050 (1989??), which has no hydraulics other than the three point hitch. I'm sure there is a way to add rear hydraulics for a disk or whatever, it's just that I have not found a way.
Hopefully someone can give you a better answer, but you may find the following of use. If you go to tractordata.com you can find out the year. In looking at machinefinder.com there are 1050s with hydraulics. You can see where they are mounted. If you go out to JDparts (URL below) and look up selective control valve kit. You may also want to consider purchasing the technical manual for the tractor (URL below).
My 1070 with the added loader control and connectors is the best and most practical way to add 2 separate circuits. I run extra hose extensions to the back end from the side mounted connection block.
Essentially it is reconfiguring the system hydraulics to enable usage beyond the scope for which was designed for the tractor. A good lead mechanic at a dealership can tell you where to "cut" into the hydraulic system so you can install service ports downstream. I did exactly that with my old International Lowboy and install a 3 spool valve body SCV. It gave me extra hydraulic options beyond which were available with the original design of the tractor. I have used it for controlling the top link on 3PH which enables you to transfer more load weight to your rear tires thus multiplying your traction capabilities. I have also run a hyraulic motor for a sprayer. You can use it for whatever you need as long as it provides enough flow rate.
The following URLs I found on the John Deere web-site and adds a little more information on what power beyond is. It also explains the difference between power beyond and Selective Control Valve.
