While using my tractor recently, I noticed I couldn't lift the loader any higher. I parked the tractor shortly thereafter. When I started it back up, the 3 pt. hitch wouldn't raise and neither would the loader. The owner's manual says to check the hydraulic fluid, then the filter. I have spent 6 hours trying to find the place to check the hydraulic fluid level. I did find one bolt on the back below the hydraulic ports. After tearing apart a few pieces of the rear of the tractor I was able to get the bolt off. It wasn't the dipstick. It was some sort of metal rod on a spring. I am at a loss. The manual is of no help at all. You would think as expensive as these tractors are, they would make things a bit easier to find and work on. Help?! Thanks.

Maybe you could call a dealer Monday? Wish I could give you the answer.

I'm afraid that's what I'm going to have to do. Just don't have the bucks for a major repair.
