We sold Longs at one time and the first thing I would check is under the seat. There is a plug and under the plug a spring loaded bullet looking piece that needs to be pulled out of that hole checked for debris in the bottom. While out, that bullet needs to be checked to sure it works up and down in that hole freely as you turn it and drop it in a complete 360 degree circle.(tractor not running while doing this check)--If you have remote hydraulics on this tractor, the cross linkage under the seat will need to be loosened on one end to access the plug mentioned.
