Anyone out there make something like this, but for a 24hp range tractors?
Thinking about designing and fabbing my own (maybe not quite as robust as the Metal Pless) if nothing is commercially available at a decent price.
Would be nice to be able to push, and pull (back-drag) without spilling off the sides, but still be able to adjust the wings opposite to act as an angled plow with side discharge to the left or right.

i doubt anyone makes a true liveedge that small, and it certainly would not be cheap. Liveedge refers to a segmented sprung cutting edge
I would think the same about a hydraulic winged plow. Would a v plow work? several manufacturers make them for UTV's and ATV's

Ah, thanks for the terminology correction (thread title fixed).
I've thought about a v-plow, but I like the idea of being able to drive up flush to a garage door and back-drag without the snow spilling off the sides.
I also like the added width that can be gained with the wings for lighter snows.
Not in a big hurry on any of this. Just researching options right now.

I use a 60" hydraulic angle blade on the front of my JD. This requires the use of two pair of remotes. To gain wing movement you will need four pair.

I can see a use for something like this on, as you said, light snow. Any volume or heavy moisture in the snow and the tractor isn't going to have enough lead in it's butt to push it in the direction you want it to go.

Even more so with your 600lb ballast box.

Your tractor isn't big enough to hold a straight line with that large of blade angled on the front. I struggle with my 60" if moving snow very far.

Ah. Misunderstood what you were getting at. I gotcha now.
After thinking the hydraulics through a little more, what I want is doable, but getting complicated fast.
I might end up just getting a pusher with a back drag and calling it a day. For the driveways I take care of around my neighborhood it will probably work just fine.

Not if it's mounted on his loader arm, then he will need 3, or one remote and a pair of solenoid hydraulic valves.
Something like the HLA Snow Wing SB3230W611 might work, but it weighs 1575#.
6' clearing width closed, 11' with the wings open.

We have a couple of the larger ones at work on 90-120 HP tractors and they are nice.

Here's another one, it does not have the angled wings, but if you roll it forward the top has a second cutting edge so you can back drag near doors and other such things:

Hmmmm….. Hafta brainstorm that remote thing again.....

If he leaves his FEL on it takes 2.
If the blade has hydraulic angle and hydraulic wings it takes 3.

If he adds diverters to the two FEL circuits he still needs to add 1 remote.

There's no way his little tractor is gonna carry a 1500lb push box on the FEL.

I've saw push boxes used commercially for clearing parking lots, etc. Best when used on a Center Pivot wheel loader.
