Loader Hydraulic Warm up

I am pretty new at Kubota ownership. Just wondering, should you run the tractor for a certain amount of time to warm up the hydraulic fluids. Thanks

Nope. I like to let it fast idle for a minute just to get the engine oil moving, then run it as normal unless it makes bad sounds, which is probably won't. Hydraulics don't care if the oil is a little thicker than usual - it's a little sluggish for the first couple of minutes, but it's better to warm it up while working it, IMHO.

I live in northern Minnesota which climate wise is referred to as the polar peninsula.

Colder than Mars, now that's funny! It does helps to keep the "riffraff" away right?

My owners manual gives specific warm up times based upon air temps. I start it, put it on high idle and let it warm up. I turn on the pto and stretch the FEL while I'm waiting and chugging that cup of joe I brought out with me. If its really cold - what the heck am I doing out anyhow - Joe meets Jack in my coffee cup.

Within 15-20 minutes we are both warm and ready to work.
