Very nice, Derek. Wait until you try it with a rotary cutter. When I want to cut grass along the edge of a gully or around the lip of my ponds, I back my tractor up at 90º to the bank and then, with my rotary cutter about 1/3 over the edge, I extend the toplink a bit and the cutter trims the all the grass on the bank. This is definitely easier with a hydro tranny. I'm sure that the longer you have that toplink, the more ways you will find to use it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If you want to trim the grass around a pond or creek bank and use your compact tractor you have two safe choices. A sickle bar mower or a boom mower.
