Hydraulic Top Link for a Kubota BX2660

I was considering getting the hydraulic top link that CC Machinery offers for the BX series, but noticed it only has 4" of stroke, going from 14" to 18": Tractor Hydraulic toplinks, Top-N-Tilt, Side link cylinders

I measured the existing top link and it has 8" of range, from 14" to 22".

So I went onto Surplus Center and found a couple of cylinders with swivel eyes that might work:

1.5X6X1, 13-1/4" to 19-1/4"

1.5X8X1, 15-1/4" to 23-1/4"

Right now I'm leaning towards the 1.5x6x1 cylinder, because if I miss the extra length, I can cut the swivel eye off and weld in a 3/4" piece of steel.

Thoughts, suggestions, alternatives?

That 6 inch stroke is the same one I had my eye on too as part of my dream for tnt setup aswell.
Have you thought about where you gonna mount your control lever ?

I'll be using the rear remotes for the BX, once I get them installed. (Just waiting for the weather to warm up.)
