Hydraulic top cap leak

Hydraulic top cap (approx 4” x 7”) leaking around edges. There are 4 bolts hold this cap in place. How do I fix leak?

Remove the bolts, lift the cover, add a gasket, lower the cover, reinstall the bolts……

Since your description is vague and we have no pictures, one can only assume you mean one like #13 in picture. There are orings that seal this.

This particular one is on a 4000, but it is the same on 3 and 4 cylinder Fords, 1965-2000.
Go to: New Holland 4000 - SERIES - 3 CYL TRACTOR(01/65 - 12/74) Parts Diagrams
and order 15-18 orings.

TractorTech, you are absolutely right. I apparently didn't look close enough, I'm too accustomed to tractors older than I am. Replace the o-rings 100%.
