Hydraulic system on a J.D.2520

could anyone tell me on a J.D. 2520 if when you check the hydraulic fluid if the tractor should be ran first , or cold ? thanks for any help

It can be checked at either time, but if warm then time should be given for the fluid to settle. The FEL and 3PH should be fully lowered and the machine parked on a level surface...About 1/2 way in the sight glass is what you want.
