I recently acquired a 1980 Massey Ferguson 30B with 32A loader. 3pt, no PTO.
I would like to add remote hydraulics to run a hydraulic shredder, and maybe a post hole digger in the future.
I've been doing a bunch of research and have come up with a few ways to do it.
I read through this thread which just kind of ended with no feedback from the OP, but it discussed using the PB port.
My loader controls do have a Power beyond port. Though, I'm not sure what all I need to make it work. It has Cessna model 33100-114C stamped on the controls, however searching for the power beyond adapter for that part number didn't pull up anything. I then checked AGCO Parts Books and found my 32A loader in a couple different books, both of them stating it uses "PN 2748206M91 Valve Assembly Control (Cessna 33102BAH)" So that's where I was a little confused since mine says 33100-114C not 33102BAH as the book says.
In the same agco book it has a note that states:
9905-10717
FOR POWER BEYOND CAPABILITY ORDER:
1 - 366940X1-- PLUG
1 - 366851X91 -- FITTING
Ok great I have some part numbers that might work? Except I can't find anyone online at least that actually sells them. And I don't even know if they are for my controls.
So then I was thinking maybe I should just give up on the PowerB setup, which would require an additional control valve, and just use quick connectors on the loader bucket hoses. Then just disconnect the loader bucket and connect whatever hydraulic equipment I need instead. I don't think ill need to use the loader at the same time anyway.. Would this be a simpler way to go about this? And assuming this method will work, instead of quick connects at the control hoses, could I add a T or Y and leave the loader connected, and then run a couple remotes from there? What would the loader operation be at this point when I decide to use the remotes hydraulics?
I'm relatively new to hydraulics but I learn quickly, so any information or advice is much appreciated, Thank you.
Here's some pictures.
