hello, i have a hydraulic problem on a JD 1830 from 1972, where can i look.

What sort of problem? You can order the service and maintenance manuals online but if you have a serious issue if may be worth paying someone with the experience and knowledge to diagnose and fix it. Any mobile tractor mechanics where you are?

If you describe the issue under Hydraulics you may get some useful help here.

Tel us what you want to do with the tractor and what the tractor can not do for you....like in you what to drive the tractor and it do not want to reverse .

How long since hyd filter was changed & sump screen(key 17) checked/cleaned? Have you checked to be sure hyd oil level is at full mark?
