I need to change the hydraulic fluid on a YM2020 The one under the transmission is obvious but there is another plug more to the rear under the belly aprox in the same area as the seat. Wondering if i need to remove this as well or is this something different. Also the screen that needs cleaning is that behind the metal plate on the clutch side up against the trans...it is about 6-8" long and about 3" wide and has 4 bolts holding it in place.

You need to remove both plugs to get all the fluid out, I changed mine not to long ago and had the same question. The plate on the clutch side will be the hydraulic screen, after you take the bolts out it will still be hard to pull off, I had to use a screw driver to pry it off, be careful though as the plate has a rubber seal under it.

Thanks Smoody .... I will go change fluid now...I thought that there were 2 plugs and it made sense but my 600 ford has a plug in the rear but it was for gear oil. Think I better remove the front one then the rear.

The screen cover is under the left brake and it is held on with 2 8M bolts.

I would change the spin-on hydraulic filter also.

Well I have removed both drain plugs and had to put the rear one back as the 5 gal pail was overflowing... Should i just get another pail and drain the rest out ?? Might be another quart but can't tell Danny i have a new spin on filter but have not located the screen cover... is it under the left brake peddle or on the left side under the PTO ... there is a cover that is round that has 2 ears and is connected to a hose in this area but the bolts are like 13-15m
