Hello all,
I do not want to start an oil war as I see in other threads, but my manual says to use TF-500 oil. In older threads this has been talked about but wanted to see what Branson owners are using. At this point I am about to just buy deere Hygard and be done with it. Any other suggestions??
Thanks
Dave

I'm about to change my oil and when I went to the dealer, ( Foskett's in Woodstock ) I was told to use universal hydraulic fluid, which kind of surprised me. At this point I guess I will use a good quality fluid from Napa or Tractor Supply or fluid from Curtis Outdoor Power Equipment as he is the cheapest around. I'm going to do some more checking today to make sure I was given the right information, but it was Harrold, the owner who told me, and I've known him quite awhile. If anyone knows more, please chime in.....................

MF Permatran is a very good universal fluid.

I used it to replace Mobil 424. It works better than the original product.
