I have a 4110 hydro with a small hydraulic leak. I have traced it down to the plate on the side of the tranny where the shaft for the four wheel drive lever comes out. (Not sure if it is the gasket behind the plate or if it is the seal around the 4x4 shaft) The on-line parts diagram doesn't show a seal but does show "packing". Anything I have ever come across with packing had some sort of a packing nut or tightener of some sort, but I see nothing here. Has any one run into this? I had the same leak last year--loosened the bolts holding the plate on and retightened--stopped leak. Now it is back. (only seems to show up when using the blower) Any thoughts, suggestions, wild ideas, or solutions are appreciated.
Thanks, Jim
P.S. The amount leaking is very small, no drop on the dipstick or site glass.
