Need to swap hose locations to correct the dump and curl functions on neighbors tractor. Have connected and disconnected mine without issue but this fitting doesn't seem to slide back to release the hose. Probably something simple I am overlooking but looking for suggestions.

Posted this earlier in attachments area but somehow managed to get the phrase "Pat's Easy Change" in the subject line. Is there anyway I can delete that thread?

Since they are in the wrong place I'm guessing that they were just recently put on and do function as they are supposed to. The smallest system pressure will give you a heck of a time. Make sure to cycle the loader valve several times. I've had a rise in temps. since I unhooked cause me to have to "crack" a like to re-connect, it doesn't take much.

Try sliding the barrel fwd and pulling on the male QD.

Some QD's work by sliding fwd or rev.

Some even turn to unlock.

Might try pushing in on the male QD and pulling out fast.

Yes, this looks like a push male in while pulling female out type of connection.

G'day just pull on the male end ( a sharp tug ) and it should pop out, these type of QD are known as breakaway couplings and are usually used on the back of the more modern tractors and are designed that if the implement leaves the tractor the hoses should pull out without damage, to fit just push in (you may need a little force to do this and it helps if the loader control is cycled with the engine off to releive pressure)

Looks very familiar. As mentioned before this is a push in and pull out quickly. It maybe troublesome but it will give. Personally, I do find that these get tougher to pull as each year passes by.......Gary
