I have a 2008 Mahindra 5525. I asked the same question.

Here's what my dealer says:

We use Chevron TH1000, but the big Mahindra's aren't particular.
Any good hy-trans that meets JD303 or better is fine.

BTW: the 5525 has wet brakes so you need to be sure the hy-trans fluid is designed for this use.

I get my hy-trans fluid at Tractor Supply. It's Traveller Premium Universal Tractor Trans/Hydaulic Fluid (#08-0638-3).

OOPS. That's a mistake. The 5525 has dry brakes. Got my wires crossed with another tractor. Sorry about that.
