Kubota G1900s
Hey guys, does anyone know the thread size of the flexible hydraulic line that connects to the cylinder that lifts the mower deck? Also, has anyone ever run a second hydraulic cylinder off of the HST on this model or G1800? Can it handle a second cylinder if used separately? Thanks.

If I am not mistaken all of the hoses on a bota are metric.

System pressure on the G1900 is 500 psi. What kind of work do you intend to do? 500 psi and very low flow should be considered. I think Kubota made a factory remote valve, but don't expect it to power a log splitter or something similar.

Jinman, I want to be able to use a 3 pt hitch or quick hitch. Maybe fabricate or purchase a box scraper / blade. Not heavy heavy lifting, but enough to save my back a little.

JJ. was thinking of a selector valve like this one Surplus Center - 3/8" NPT 20 GPM PRINCE SELECTOR VALVE to be able to use the same control valve on two separate cylinders.

If they mate with a tapered fitting (normally 37 degrees) you can determine what size by looking at the hex, normally a number is stamped in it. If i had to guess I would say a -4 or -6.

More help on how to identify fittings is available at Surplus Center - Tech Help

Skipper, Kubota made the G2590 3PH kit for the G1900 and also made a diverter valve with hoses. If you are really serious about this project, I don't think you can beat going to Kubota and ordering at least some parts like hoses and the diverter. You can look at the 3PH kit online to get an idea of how to build your 3PH. I have no idea if these kits are still available (probably not) but it wouldn't hurt to check with your local dealer to see if anything like this might be available at a decent price.

EDIT: The 3PH kit for the G1900 complete is part no. 79840-13300 and sells for $1,235. It won't give you differential lock or 4wd that are handy for box-blading, but it will give you a very nice 3PH. With the extra rear weight and some aggressive tires, you might get some useful work done.:)
